BOB NELSON
A true Long
Island comedy treasure, Bob Nelson began his comedy career at a
tiny club called the White House Inn and soon stood out as the
premiere performer among a crop of comedians that also included
Eddie Murphy and Rosie O’Donnel. Bob’s ability to create
hilariously quirky characters and his uncanny knack for physical
comedy make his a show that people come back to see again and
again. His many credits include "HBO’s Ninth Young Comedian’s
Special", "The Tonight Show", and numerous HBO comedy specials
including the critically acclaimed "Nelson Schmelson. Perhaps
the greatest endorsement one can receive was given by Johnny
Carson, who remarked after one of Bob’s many Tonight Show
appearances: "You can’t laugh any harder for five or six minutes
than you did at that guy… Bob Nelson". Come and laugh for
yourself when Bob Nelson returns to our stage.
